The Power of the Sun

Leo expresses the full power of the Sun. Kabbalah (in the Zohar) says that ט is the “good letter” as the word tov=good (טוב) starts with it. Think to tov as “something that is right to do”.

Sepher Yetzirah says about Leo: “He made the letter Tet king over hearing, and He bound a crown to it, and He combined one with another, and with them He formed Leo in the Universe, Av in the Year, and the left kidney in the Soul male and female.”.

In Leo begins the passage from introversion to extraversion. The ט, symbolizes the strength of the Snake, the Kundalini of the Indians, an energy, a libidinal force with a great potential. If we learn how to control it. The Zohar says that ט teaches us the secrets of Yesod, the 9^th Sephira, the one that corresponds to the sex organs in the body.

I think the best definition of Leo is in the Walt Disney’s movie “The Lion King”. A cub, son of the king, who knows that is going to be the strongest one, the best, the winner. But, to really become the King he has to learn how to be a leader. Leo’s destiny is the same.
