Better Kid than Billy Goat

Important Note: to better understand the contents of this page, I recommend you to read first the page about Sepher Yetzirah and watch its video.
Capricorn is the last sign of the element Earth. The main experience of Capricorn for Kabbalistic Astrology is the rejuvenation.
Sepher Yetzirah says about Capricorn: “He made the letter ‘Ain king over anger, and He bound a crown to it, and He combined one with another, and with them He formed Capricorn in the Universe, Tevet in the Year, and the liver in the Soul male and female.”
Capricorn is represented by the Hebrew letter ע. ‘Ain is the letter of the Hebrew Alphabet with the most obscure meanings in the shape. Kabbalists say that ‘Ain is made out of a Vav inserted into a Nun (ו + נ = ע). This interpretation links ‘Ain to the capacity of Capricorn to strive for a goal, to overcome the problems.
Another interpretation, which I mentioned in the video, relates the shape of ‘Ain to the sight. We have seen that Sight is the sense of Cancer. The position of Capricorn in the Wheel of the Zodiac is at the top part, opposite to Cancer. This position puts the 2 signs in an Astrological relation.
As a matter of fact, Capricorn’s sense is the Anger, which may obfuscate Capricorn’s sight and lead it to destruction. The 16th Tarot, the Tower where usually one can find
the ‘Ain, has this meaning. ‘Ain is the 16th letter of the Alef-Beit.
The 3 levels of Capricorn, its relation with ‘Ain, the sense and the body part are explained in the video.
