Do I need any special software to read an eBook?

I cannot download my purchase! What shall I do?
eBooks are electronic books that can be read on computers, portable devices (Kindle, iPad, iPod Touch) and smartphones (iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Windows Phone 7).
eBooks are simple files that you can download and store on your computer. eBooks offer a high level of interactivity not possible in printed editions. We currently handle two formats (.epub and .mobi).
Do I need any special software to read an eBook?
Yes.
eBooks can be easily read on computers (any type of Windows System, Mac, and Linux), portable devices and smartphones. In order to be able to read the eBook you may need to download and install an eBook reading software. Depending on the format of the eBook and the device/computer that you have, you can use different type of software.
The .EPUB format can be read using the following free software:
Calibre (available for Windows, Mac and Linux): downloadable here
Stanza (available for Windows, Mac, iPhone, iPod Touch): downloadable here
Barnes & Noble Nook (available for Windows, Mac, iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, Android, Blackberry): downloadable here
Apple iBooks (available for iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch): downloadable from Apple App Store. We have a specific help page for iBooks here
The .MOBI format can be read using Amazon Kindle free sofware (available for Windows, Mac, iPad, iPod Touch, iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Windows Phone 7): downloadable here
The .MOBI format can also be read using a Kindle eBook reading device.
Files are downloaded as a .zip archive, you need to unzip them using the relevant utilities available for your Operative System (i.e. Winzip for Windows and so on).
When will I get a download of my purchase?
After your payment will be verified by PayPal and confirmed, you will be redirected to a page with a link to download your purchase. The download will expire after 24 hours. You will also receive a confirmation e-mail with a link to download your purchase.
Which methods of payment do you accept?
Currently we accept credit card and debit card payments by PayPal. You do not need to have a PayPal account to pay through our PayPal interface. Non PayPal account holders are allowed to pay using their existing credit or debit cards.
I cannot download my purchase! What shall I do?
