Understanding the Good
Tet is one of the 12 Simple Letters: Time.
It is the ninth letter of the Hebrew Alphabet. Its numerical value is 9.
Tet corresponds to the fifth diagonal path of the Tree of Life, the path which connects Hokhma to Tiferet.
Sepher Yetzirah says about Tet: “… He made the letter Tet king over hearing, and He bound a crown to it, and He combined one with another, and with them He formed Leo in the Universe, Av in the Year, and the left kidney in the Soul male and female.”

Tet corresponds to the Astrological Sign of Leo.
Kabbalah says that Tet is the “good letter” as the word tov (טוב) starts with it. Think to tov as “something that is right to do”.
The Zohar says that Tet teaches us the secrets of Yesod (the 9th Sephira), the Sephira that corresponds to the sex organs in the body.
Tet has 2 parts: the left one is straight and the right one is bent.
It is the graphical representation of a Snake. Tet means snake (the most astute and most powerful animal).
Tet is the symbol of Leadership and Power, the power of the Sun.
Tet’s value is 9. 9 as Yesod (the 9th Sephira), 9 as the number of Sephiroth pouring blessing into Malkhut.
Tet is teaching us the importance of Good in our lives. Tet helps us to focus on the Good around us.
