Circularity
Samekh is one of the 12 Simple Letters: Time.
It is the fifteenth letter of the Hebrew Alphabet. Its numerical value is 60.
Samekh corresponds to the ninth diagonal path of the Tree of Life, the path which connects Tiferet to Hod.
Sepher Yetzirah says about Samekh: “… He made the letter Samekh king over sleep, and He bound a crown to it, and He combined one with another, and with them He formed Sagittarius in the Universe, Kislev in the Year, and the lower stomach in the Soul male and female.”

Samekh corresponds to the Astrological Sign of Sagittarius.
Samekh is linked to the blessing. In fact, the famous Priestly Blessing (Numbers 6:24~27) is made of 15 words (Samekh is the 15th letter) and 60 letters (the numerical value of Samekh).
Samekh is the symbol of the exchange, the fluidity, and the circulation.
Samekh is a call for travels, both physical and spiritual.
Samekh means “to support”: as a shelter for the lost and fallen souls.
Besides the mentioned Priestly Blessing meaning, 60 corresponds to the law of nullification. This law, also known as Bitul, says that if one substance is diluted up to 1/60th into another one, looses all its properties.
Samekh is teaching us to go beyond the cyclic pattern of nature, and to become aware of the Essence of the Universe.
