The Power of the Word
Hey is one of the 12 Simple Letters: Time.
It is the fifth letter of the Hebrew Alphabet. Its numerical value is 5.
Hey corresponds to the first diagonal path of the Tree of Life, the path which connects Keter to Hokhma.
Sepher Yetzirah says about Hey: “… He made the letter Hey king over speech, and He bound a crown to it, and He combined one with another, and with them He formed Aries in the Universe, Nisan in the Year, and the right foot in the Soul male and female.”

Hey corresponds to the Astrological Sign of Aries.
Hey is the door to life. A graphical representation of the 3 directions of the space. The meaning of the 3 lines related to the human being is “Thought, Word, Action”.
In your life, Hey is the passage to the change, the upthrust towards new directions to attain a better awareness. Its name means “Here you are!”, which sounds as a promise.
Hey’s value is 5. In Kabbalah, 5 is the number of the Torah, that is often called Hamesh (חמש, meaning five).
5 is also the number of independent vigor (i.e. Adam stood up after 5 of the 12 hours spent in the Garden of Eden showing his physical autonomy).
Hey is teaching us the power of words in our life. Think first, then speak.
